I followed the links showing clinical research to treat infertility in men ;but, nothing was mentioned about an increase in gh or testosterone levels. Rather than drawing assumptions about gh and testosterone increases. Can you point to any credible research that specifically shows a direct relationship between gh, testosterone and Mucuna Pruriens?

In order to increase GH, Mucuna Pruriens can be used in combination with other supplement ingredients. Check out this study… Testosterone and GH increases with supplements are subjective. There is no one magic supplement that will work for everyone.

So if a capsule is 500mg of mucuna – does this mean at 20%, only 100mg of L-dopa is present?

    Hi Frank,

There are many substances in the herb, besides L Dopa, that have a clinical effect. The enhancement of dopamine is only one of many ways mucuna influences the body and mind. When the herbal extract concentration is too high in terms of its L dopa percentage, it is possible that other beneficial substances in the plant are removed.
Some of the benefits of this herbal remedy rests on its multiple micro nutrients. Herbs have the advantage of being more readily bioavailable, containing many micronutrients that work in synergy (ie work together to create an enhanced effect).
Taking a supplement in its natural form is always the most effective way.
